What Is Sugam Darshan?
Sugam Darshan ("easy darshan") is the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust's assisted, faster-queue darshan option. A booked pilgrim is guided through a shorter, managed route to the sanctum at a scheduled slot — especially valuable for elderly pilgrims, families with small children, and those with limited time.
Who Finds It Most Useful
- Senior citizens and pilgrims who cannot stand in long queues.
- Families with infants or young children.
- Travellers on a tight schedule (same-day train/flight).
- Anyone visiting on a busy weekend or auspicious day.
How Official Booking Works
- Visit the official Temple Trust portal (linked below — never third-party sites).
- Register/sign in with your mobile number and ID details.
- Choose Sugam Darshan, select date and available slot, add pilgrim details.
- Pay on the official gateway; save/print the confirmation.
- Report at the designated Sugam Darshan point with ID at your slot time.
The Trust sets and revises the Sugam Darshan fee; this page deliberately does not hard-code a price that may be outdated. Check the current rate on the official portal before booking.
Current Conditions & Restrictions
- On certain peak days (e.g., Sawan Mondays, Shivratri) assisted darshan may be suspended or heavily regulated by official order.
- Slots are limited and sell out in advance during season — book early.
