The One Rule

Book darshan services, aarti, Sugam Darshan and puja only on the official Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust portal. This guide teaches the process; it is not a booking interface, and this website never collects money for temple services.

Step-by-Step

  1. Go to the official portal. Type the address yourself or use the verified link on this page — do not follow links from messages or ads. Open official portal ↗
  2. Register with your mobile number; verify via OTP.
  3. Choose the service: Sugam Darshan, aarti attendance (Mangala/Bhog/Saptarishi/Shringar), Rudrabhishek or other listed pujas.
  4. Select date & slot. Availability is shown live on the portal; festival dates sell out far ahead.
  5. Enter pilgrim details exactly as on your government ID.
  6. Pay on the official gateway (UPI/cards/net-banking as offered).
  7. Save confirmation — download the PDF/receipt and keep the SMS.
  8. On the day: carry the same ID, deposit prohibited items at lockers, report at the stated gate before your slot.

Fraud Prevention

Stay safe
  • Touts outside the temple offering "VIP entry" or "special puja" for cash are unauthorized — the Trust warns against them.
  • Check the URL carefully; fake lookalike booking sites exist.
  • The Trust's official receipts come with booking IDs verifiable on the portal.
  • No genuine booking requires payment to a personal UPI ID or wallet.
  • When in doubt, call the helpline number published on the official portal.

If a Slot Is Unavailable

General darshan remains free and unbooked — you can always join the regular queue. Aarti and abhishek slots open in windows; checking the portal a few weeks ahead (and again a few days ahead) usually finds availability outside peak season.
