A pilgrimage guide lives or dies by accuracy. This page explains how we source, mark and maintain information.
Our Sourcing Rules
- Official first: timings, rules and booking-related information are based on the official temple portal and government sources, which we link. Where they change, we point you to verify rather than pretending certainty.
- Marking uncertainty: information that is seasonal, variable or unverifiable is labelled "reference only" or "verify before visiting" — we do not print confident-sounding guesses.
- Last-updated dates: pages carry a last-reviewed date; time-sensitive tables carry verification notes.
- Tradition vs history: devotional beliefs are written as tradition; documented events as history. We never present legend as archaeology or archaeology as legend.
What We Will Not Publish
- Invented prices, timings or "official" claims.
- Fake reviews, fake live feeds, or fabricated urgency.
- Sensational or graphic coverage of sacred rites (e.g., cremation ghats).
- Content that inflames community sentiment on disputed matters — such topics are handled with neutral, factual language or omitted.
Corrections
Errors survive every process — when you find one, tell us via the contact page. Material corrections are made promptly and the page's review date updated.
Affiliations
This site has no official affiliation. If we ever carry advertising or affiliate links, they will be clearly labelled as such and will never involve payments for religious services.
